If so, you're in luck as the plastic 64 oz versions have arrived!!!
While glass can be great to set in the refrigerator, on the kitchen counter, or on a table inside or outside, when taking outdoors, the plastic version has some advantages including:
  • They're light: Once consumed, they don't weigh hardly anything, making it easy to carry back or whenever weight is a concern. They also float and if one had enough, could build a boat.
  • They don't break: Especially important when traveling in a boat or down a bumpy road where it's packed along with everything else. But also for consuming outdoors in general, such as on a beach or sandy area, glass is big no-no, things happen, welcome to the outdoors and one doesn't want to worry about having something break and making sure everything is cleaned up.
Of course, the flip side of plastic being:
  • Heat Sensitivity: Not to be left in the sun too long and especially not close to a campfire.
  • Longevity: Through general wear and tear, a glass container will last much longer than its plastic counterpart, likewise stainless steel over glass.

So if planning a trip or outdoor event and present not to use glass, you can try out a plastic Growler with a Loony's Brew beer, now including the Amaizing Cream Ale, Flying Squirrel Amber Ale, Drunken Moose Dark Belgian Ale, Voyageur Pale Ale, and Lost Bay IPA.

Cheers,
Loony's Brew
