Beer of the Week Winter Specials!

11/8/2017

We're bringing back the beer of the week for winter, this time with our own beers! The details:
  • What's the special: 40% anything related to that beer, be it a pint, liter stein, pitcher, 750ml or 64 ounce growlers, and refills.
  • Why would we do this, something must be wrong: The main reason for doing so is to give each beer a proper introduction, a chance to be in the spotlight for a bit you could say. With that, if the beer was anything less than outstanding, you definitely wouldn't want to feature it, it'd be stupid, as it's representing everything that your beers are about. And yeah, sure, some people have different preferences, prefer stouts, IPAs, wheat, light, strong, but that's understood hence the special, give a little extra reason to try something different.
  • When does it go from: Typically the new beer is announced on Monday and goes through Sunday. And just to completely mess things up, starting on the wrong foot, we thought we'd kick-off the first week with breaking at least one of the rules by launching it today and going through next Sunday, November 12.
Beer of the First Week: The Amaizing Cream Ale
Kicking off the weekly beer highlights is the Amaizing Cream Ale. This one is very difficult to have just one, with the danger being expectations may have been set too high, and it'll be difficult for other beers that follow to match it. Sort of like a music concert but with the headliner opening the show, good luck for the rest. Or, for some magical unknown reason, they'll just get better and better, we'll see.

Anyway, it's a very smooth light colored ale, includes a 20% corn mixture, light on the hops so not bitter (similar to most lagers), and has a 5.0% ABV.

Cheers,
Loony's Brew
